그를 세상에 제대로 알리게 했던 곡은 "The Day the Rains Came" 으로
1958년 미국내에서 베스트셀러를 기록하면서 부터입니다.
뒤에 1968년의 "Ame Caline" (Soul Coaxin')곡이 세계적인 히트를 이루었습니다.
