에미 잭슨은 1945년 7월 2일 영국 에식스 출생으로 일본의 여성 가수입니다.
영국에서 일본 부모에게 태어나 1960년대 일본에서 활동을 이어 갔습니다.
영국 출신이지만 일본어로 노래를 하기도 했지요.

처음에 Emy Jackson의 곡을 접했을때에는 일본인인줄 모르고 들었는데, 후속곡들이 알게 해 줬던 가수입니다.
Crying In A Storm 을 어릴때 국내 옴니버스 형식의 추억의 팝송이라고 LP를 발매 했는데 정품인지는 모르겠으나 그 가운데 이곡을 들으며 흥얼 댔던 기억이 있습니다. 지금 어느 구석에서 그 옴니 앨범 자켓이 너덜 해져서 있을 듯 싶네요.
